| I have been in the fashion/clothing industry from the age of 14. I joined Moss Bros as an apprentice tailor in 1946 and became Chief Executive in 1980. Subsequently I became Executive Chairman of Norman Hartnell Ltd, the Royal Couturier to HM The Queen and HM THe Queen Mother. In 1992 I set up a consultancy practice. I am a Freeman of the City of London and a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Glovers. I like to think that my after-dinner stories and my anecdotes and reminiscences can be enjoyed by a wide audience. |
