| We are a registered charity providing long-term practical and emotional support for disadvantaged families through 'befriending' and 'mentoring' services. We work in deprived areas of Kensington, north Kensington and Chelsea. As a volunteer you will visit your families/children for 2 hours a week in the family's home and will have on-going weekly supervision. We are holding a volunteer training session in December on the weekend of the 10th and 11th and again in February (dates to be confirmed). Volunteers of all ages and ethnic and cultural backgrounds are welcome and a commitment of one year is required. Excellent listener, caring and committed, empathetic and non-judgmental |
